Pet Poison Hotline
The Pet Poison Hotline helps educate pet owners on basic pet safety by providing information about substances that are toxic to pets and signs to watch for if a toxic substance is ingested. They also provide an emergency helpline that connects owners with one of their staff experts to help address pet poisoning incidents.

Pet Loss Resources

Pet Loss Support Group
The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine offers a free monthly support group for grieving pet owners. Pet Owners are invited to sign up for one of our Telehealth meetings where they will be able to talk with others who have lost a pet under the direction of a group facilitator. Sessions are open to anyone and seek to help provide resources for dealing with pet loss.

Animal Related Grief and Bereavement Resources
The University of Tennessee Center for Veterinary Social work offers a variety resources for pet owners during critical care for their pet and after their pet has passed. They offer a safe space to discuss important decisions pertaining to your pets health while also providing support so you can prioritize commitments in your life. They also offer free therapy sessions (up to 6 free) to Tennessee pet owners and families after a pet has passed away. Check out some of their resources to learn more.

Pet Parent Grief Support Resources
Gateway provides a variety of articles and resources so pet owners can grieve and also remember their pet. They provide a range of memorial services as well as cremation services so that your pet's memory can live on a in a meaningful way. They are here to help pet parents navigate the difficulties that come with pet loss with understanding and compassion.
